When and where will the #GamesUR Conference 2023 be?
The Conference will happen on May 25th and 26th, 2023. It is a hybrid event, happening in-person, in Seattle, and online, on Zoom. You can get your tickets here.
Venue’s Address: Renaissance Hotel, 515 Madison Street Seattle, WA 98104 United States.
Will there be on-site parking?
Yes, however it is paid parking. Overnight Self-Parking is $50. Overnight Valet parking is $63. Hourly Self-Parking is $16 for the first hour, and $7 each Additional hour, up to $58 in a 24-hour period. Hourly Valet parking is $20 for the first hour, and $8 Each Additional Hour, up to $68 in a 24-hour period. All Pricing includes Tax and there is a maximum parking height of 6’2”.
Additionally, Hourly Parking does not include in-and-out privileges.
For alternative parking options, there is the Olympic Garage, with a maximum daily fee of $33 and is located two blocks north of the hotel at 415 Seneca St. or the 800 Fifth Avenue Subterranean Lot with a maximum daily fee of $36, but no overnight parking, and located at 550 Columbia St. Finally, there is the Seattle Municipal Tower’s Imperial Parking located at 700 5th Ave with a maximum daily fee of $28. There are also several Park & Ride Locations on 10001 1st Ave, 6601 8th Ave, and 9200 2nd Ave.
You can also get there by using public transit. The Renaissance Hotel Seattle is near University St Station (6 min on foot) or buses on Madison or 5th-6th Avenue.
Where will I be able to watch the Conference presentations?
Online attendees will receive Zoom links via email where they can view both tracks of the Conference presentations. These will be simultaneously streamed on Youtube.
How can I interact with other attendees and speakers (online)?
While presentations are streaming via Zoom. You can use the Q&A functionality to ask questions to the speakers.
We also welcome and encourage all attendees and speakers to engage in our Discord server, where channels will be created for each presentation and channels for “hallway” conversations and fishbowl discussions. Creating an account is free, and we encourage you to join us!

Will talks be available afterwards?
Yes, they will be on the GRUX SIG Youtube channel in the month after the summit.
